The Bachelor of Industrial & Health Psychology (BIHP) is a four-year degree combining industrial/organisational psychology and health psychology as a single, integrated specialisation — training you to improve both workplace wellbeing and public-health outcomes, at a time Eswatini badly needs both.
Bachelor of Industrial & Health Psychology

Eswatini has one of the highest suicide rates in the world and a critical shortage of trained mental-health professionals — this degree responds directly to that need.
Most regional psychology degrees specialise narrowly in either clinical or organisational psychology; BIHP combines organisational and health psychology deliberately.
Dedicated Employee Wellness Programme Design and Occupational Health Psychology modules respond directly to workplace-wellness gaps documented in Eswatini’s own health-workforce research.
Two full-semester Work-Integrated Learning practicum placements in organisational and health/community settings.
Introduction to Psychology, Biological Bases of Behaviour, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and Abnormal Psychology.
Introduction to I-O Psychology, Human Resource Psychology (Recruitment, Selection and Performance), Organizational Behaviour and Development, and Organizational Change and Leadership Psychology.
Introduction to Health Psychology, Occupational Health Psychology, Counselling Psychology Skills, Health Promotion and Behaviour Change, and Community and Public Health Psychology.
480 credits over 4 years (8 semesters): core psychological-science foundations in Years 1–2, then combined industrial/organisational and health-psychology specialisation in Years 3–4.
