Welcome

One Degree for Workplace Wellbeing and Public Health

The Bachelor of Industrial & Health Psychology (BIHP) is a four-year degree combining industrial/organisational psychology and health psychology as a single, integrated specialisation — training you to improve both workplace wellbeing and public-health outcomes, at a time Eswatini badly needs both.

Why Study BIHP at LUE?

Psychology That Responds to Eswatini’s Needs

Responding to a Critical Need

Eswatini has one of the highest suicide rates in the world and a critical shortage of trained mental-health professionals — this degree responds directly to that need.

Two Fields, One Integrated Degree

Most regional psychology degrees specialise narrowly in either clinical or organisational psychology; BIHP combines organisational and health psychology deliberately.

A Focus on Workplace Wellness

Dedicated Employee Wellness Programme Design and Occupational Health Psychology modules respond directly to workplace-wellness gaps documented in Eswatini’s own health-workforce research.

Two Practicum Placements

Two full-semester Work-Integrated Learning practicum placements in organisational and health/community settings.
