Programmes

Programmes, Accreditation and Fees

LUE offers certificate, diploma, bachelor’s and master’s programmes across four faculties:

  • Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences
  • Faculty of Business, Management and Entrepreneurship
  • Faculty of Law, Governance and Social Sciences

Search by name or subject, or filter by faculty and level on the Programmes page — every programme has its own page with entry requirements, structure, careers and an enquiry form.

Each programme has been developed by LUE in accordance with Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC) Programme Approval Standards and is being submitted to ESHEC for accreditation. Prospective applicants should confirm the current accreditation status of a programme with LUE’s Admissions Office before enrolling.

Every module is assessed using LUE’s standardised, criterion-referenced rubrics, moderated internally and, for capstone/thesis/dissertation components, externally examined. Marks are converted to a letter grade and grade point on LUE’s institution-wide scale. On that scale, 45% and above is a pass, and a weighted average of 70% and above earns First Class Honours.

The full grading table is shown in the Assessment section of each programme page.

Each programme page sets out the programme structure by year and semester. Full Course Learning Outcomes, weekly teaching schedules and reading lists for every module are available in LUE’s Detailed Course Outlines for the programme, available on request from the Admissions Office.

Programme content, fees and accreditation status are confirmed at the point of offer.
